Full Tour Itinerary:
We’ll experience the Forgotten World from the comfort of converted golf carts, cleverly adapted to be self-driven along the tracks by us. There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities along the way as we take in the ever-changing vistas. It’s a full day trip that will depart from, and return to, our accommodation in Taumaranui. On Day 3 of the tour we take our time meandering in the homeward direction via beautiful Mangakino before arriving at legendary Manuel’s Millennium Hotel on the shores of Lake Taupō in the afternoon, where you can enjoy the luxurious surroundings, or do some shopping in Taupō itself, before a superb dinner and evening in the hotel. We have taken the Twenty Tunnels tour numerous times over the past few years, not surprisingly, it is one of our most popular ever.
