Full Tour Itinerary:
Today is a busy old day so let’s get cracking! We’ll need perking up before we start so we have Morning Tea at a Mystery Venue, but rest assured, it’ll be fun. Then we’re off! Firstly to visit We Sow, You Grow in Hastings. This community nursery is providing people with affordable vegetable & flower plants, trees and shrubs. Their story is an interesting one and Brent Harris will show us around. He will have plants available to
purchase. Then, sticking with the plant theme, we head just down the road to Real World where they create natural plant-based hand, home and body care products. We’ll learn more about this amazing business and have a chance to try their wares. Our Lunch venue is the outstanding Fairways Café at the Hastings Golf Club near Bridge Pa. With views straight up the 18th hole, we’ll enjoy a delicious, relaxing lunch in this park-like setting. After
lunch we head to Whakatu and the headquarters of a global Hawke’s Bay success story – David Trubridge Design. Their light fixture designs are found in prestigious destinations all over the world. We’ll have a guided tour of their workshop. Our final destination of the day is the Port Of Napier. With their new multi-million dollar wharf due to open it’s a perfect time for a guided tour around their operation in the coach.
