Napier, the gateway to New Zealand's premier wine region

Hawke’s Bay, the province surrounding Napier, enjoys one of the highest counts of annual sunshine hours in the country. As a result, the region has always been a popular holiday destination for Kiwi families.

There are a wealth of things to see and do here and Bay Tours are pleased to offer four tours specially designed for cruise visitors which highlight some of the best aspects of life in Hawke’s Bay.

Wellington - The coolest little capital city in the world

Lonely Planet Guides got it right when they summed up the vibe of New Zealand’s capital city. Framed by harbour and hills, Wellington offers a brilliant mix of stunning vistas, stately gravitas and urban sophistication.

Our Wellington Highlights tour is a superb way to maximise your day in our capital.

Arrived in Napier aboard the Dawn Princess in March 2017 and were met at the visitor information centre by Andy, our guide for the day. Trip included a visit to chocolate factory (the Silky Oak Chocolate Company - plenty to sample) and Mission Winery, as well as the sights of Napier and surrounds. Andy was very personable, informative and answered our questions with good humour. The coach was clean and modern, and our tour group comprised around 10-15 people.

We arranged the tour through Shore Trips and Tours, much cheaper than arranging tours on board our cruise ship. Would highly recommend Andy and Bay Tours and Charters.
